給与から徴収する源泉所得税について

年末調整の時期ですが、年末調整の注意点については２００５年の
１１月を参考にしていただくとして、今回は給与から徴収する源泉
所得税についてお話します。

この時期、年末調整に必要な書類として従業員に「給与所得者の
扶養控除等申告書」の記入をお願いしていると思いますが、「給与
所得者の扶養控除等申告書」はこの時期にだけ記入してもらう書類
と思っていませんか？

給与から徴収する所得税額の計算で一番多い間違いが、パートやア
ルバイトの源泉徴収税額の計算です。税額表の乙欄で源泉徴収しな
ければいけないパート等の給与に対する源泉徴収を甲欄で行ってい
る間違いです。原因は雇用時に他で働いているか、他でも仕事をし
ている場合にはどちらの仕事が主であるかを確認することを怠って
いることが原因です。従業員（常勤、パート等）を雇用した際には
必ず他で仕事をしているかどうかを確認し、診療所の仕事が主である
場合には雇用時に「給与所得者の扶養控除等申告書」の記載をお願
いして下さい。
